What Is a Trampoline Warranty?
A trampoline warranty is a guarantee from the manufacturer that they will repair or replace any defective parts of the trampoline for a certain period after purchase.
Warranties can vary substantially in length and coverage, so it is important to read the fine print before purchasing a trampoline.
Here are some common things that are covered by trampoline warranties:
- Trampoline Frame
- Trampoline Mat
- Trampoline Springs
- Trampoline Net or Enclosure
- Trampoline Padding
- Workmanship Defects
The length of time a trampoline warranty covers can vary from one manufacturer to another. Some warranties last for as little as one year, while others last for as long as 10 years (like ours!).
It is important to note that trampoline warranties typically do not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidents.
For example, if the trampoline is damaged by a storm or if the family dog chews through the enclosure net, the warranty will not cover the cost of repairs. This applies to Springfree Trampolines, as well.
What Is the Warranty on Springfree Trampolines?
Springfree Trampolines have a 10-year warranty that covers manufacturer defects in material and workmanship. All parts of the trampoline are covered under warranty. Think of the Springfree Trampoline warranty like the bumper-to-bumper warranty on a car – it's rare!
All Springfree Trampoline Accessories are covered by a one-year warranty, except the Springfree FlexrBall, which has a three-month warranty.
Note: Our warranty coverage changed to 10 years in September 2017 because we felt so strongly backing up our trampoline’s superior quality and safety. If you are uncertain which warranty your trampoline is covered by, please contact our Customer Care team at (1 877 586 7723).
What Is Not Covered Under the Springfree Trampoline Warranty?
Here is everything that is not covered under the Springfree Warranty, courtesy of our Warranty Policy:
- Trampolines purchased from an unauthorized dealer.
- Trampolines that have been improperly installed.
- Trampolines that have been subject to careless operation or handling, misuse, abuse and/or lack of maintenance or use not in accordance with the Trampoline and Enclosure Assembly, Installation, Care, Maintenance, Safety, and Use Instructions manual.
- Trampolines that have been affected by external sources such as weather events, theft, fire, fireworks, animal damage, cuts, burns or vandalism. Also not covered are repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorized parties or agents.
- Use of the trampoline other than for private household purposes (ie: commercial or rental purposes), unless exempted by local legislation and laws.
- This limited warranty does not cover misuse or minor imperfections in trampolines that meet design specifications or do not materially alter functionality.
In addition to the points above, Springfree Trampoline is not responsible or liable for any economic loss, loss of property, loss of revenue or profits, loss of enjoyment or use, cost of removal, installation, disassembly or other consequential damages.

Can Springfree Trampoline’s Warranty Be Transferred?
Some Springfree customers have questions regarding the Springfree Trampoline warranty transfer process. Here is the answer, straight from our Warranty Policy:
“For a period of up to 3 years post-purchase, the original purchaser who purchased from an authorized Springfree seller may transfer this limited warranty to another person. The original Springfree purchaser will need to contact their nearest Springfree Trampoline office to authorize this transfer. This warranty does not cover Springfree Trampoline Accessories.”
So, let’s say you bought a trampoline from the original owner after two years and the owner transferred the warranty to you. That means you would have eight years left on the 10-year warranty.
Currently, we are the only trampoline brand to offer a transferable warranty. It’s because Springfree Trampolines last for 10+ years and are often passed along to a second or third family to enjoy!
