When Should You Buy a Springfree Trampoline Replacement Part?
There are certain things you need to check for when assessing whether you need to order a replacement part.
If you meet one of the following criteria, it’s likely time to order a Springfree Trampoline replacement part:
- Material flaws in the mat or net.
- Missing rods or rods that are disconnected from the mat. Broken rods or fraying cracked mat rods, as well.
- Bent or broken frame.
- Missing or broken plastic mat rod holders.
- Missing or broken enclosure rods.
- Missing C-clips from the sockets on the frame.
- Cracks or flaking in the sleeves that encase the fiberglass rods.
How to Order Springfree Trampoline Parts
Now that you know what Springfree Trampolines parts can be replaced and when you need to order them, let’s go over how to order a new part.
Step 1: Gather Your Trampoline’s Information
To achieve a quick and successful call for a new part, you will want to gather the following information about your Springfree Trampoline:
- The model or serial number of your trampoline. You can find this number on the trampoline frame. It’ll either be on a white sticker or engraved into the frame. See the image below for an example:
IMPORTANT: If you can’t find the serial number, count the number of mat rods instead. The mat rods are typically white—as seen in the image above. You can also use the model number (ex. S155 for the Jumbo Square Trampoline).
- The shape of your trampoline (Square, Round or Oval).
Basically, all you need to have before calling is the serial number (or mat rod count) and the shape of your trampoline. If you have that, you have greatly increased your chances of a quick call!
Step 2: Call Springfree!
You MUST call Springfree to get your replacement part! Springfree Trampolines Parts are only sold over the phone by our Specialists.
This is mainly because Springfree Trampolines are more complex than any other trampoline, and the process could get confusing for some if they ordered a part on their own.
If you have your serial number (or number of mat rods) and the shape of your trampoline, then you can call and say something like:
Serial Number Scenario:
“Hi, I need a new mat for my square trampoline. Its serial number is G42052.”
Mat Rod Scenario:
“Hi, I need a new mat for my square trampoline. Its mat rod count is 64.”
Step 3: We’ll Ship the Part
From there, a Springfree representative will then tell you whether the part is in stock and what the cost of the part (and shipping) is. We will then ship you the new part.
To order or find out more information on replacement parts, please call 1(877) 586-7723.
*Disclaimer: Periodically, we may see parts go on back order. 4-6 weeks is a safe bet for a part to come back in stock. We suggest you buy the back ordered part so you will have one when they come back in stock!
Springfree Trampolines Part Prices
There’s no universal price for Springfree Trampolines parts. It depends on the size of trampoline you have and the spare part you need.
For example, a new mat for a Springfree Compact Round Trampoline (2nd smallest Springfree), you can expect to pay about $245.
For a Springfree Jumbo Square Trampoline (2nd biggest Springfree), you’ll be paying around $400 for a new mat. A new Springfree Trampoline mat or net will be the most expensive singular trampoline parts you can buy. The small parts, like the C-clips ($3), won’t cost near as much.
There’s also shipping costs you will have to pay for the part if it is not covered under warranty. Shipping typically costs around $25-$30.
Now, if you file a warranty claim and it’s approved, your part and its shipping costs will be covered. Springfree Trampolines offers an industry leading 10-year warranty on all parts of the trampoline that covers manufacturer defects.
Springfree replacement parts are covered by a 2-year warranty if purchased new through Springfree Trampoline.
6 Questions About Springfree Trampoline Replacement Parts
Here are answers to a few additional questions you may have regarding Springfree Trampoline parts:
1. What Are the Most Common Parts That Need to Be Replaced
Typically, the most common parts you will need to replace on a Springfree Trampoline will be the net and/or mat.
Tip: If you need a new mat and net, order them together! The installation process is practically the same for both.
2. How Often Will You Need to Order Replacement Parts?
If reasonably used, and if you follow basic trampoline safety rules, you shouldn’t have to replace any trampoline parts within 10 years (consistent with Springfree’s warranty).
Parts only need to be replaced when they are damaged. So, if you get to that 10-year mark with your Springfree, you don’t need to replace parts just because it’s been 10 years!
3. Should You Replace a Trampoline Part Yourself?
Most customers replace the part themselves. If you installed your trampoline, you should be able to manually replace the part. However, you can opt for a professional to come out and replace it if desired.
4. How Much Does It Cost to Hire a Professional?
If you want somebody to come replace the part, it’ll cost around $549, depending on the part.
5. Can You Order Replacement Parts for an Older Springfree Trampoline?
Yes, and the process will be the same. However, if you have a G3 trampoline (the older model, typically sold between 2008-2015), you won’t be able to get a new frame. You can tell if you have a G3 or G4 model from the serial number).—
If you need a new frame on a G3 model, you will likely need to purchase a new trampoline.
Another note on G3 Springfree Trampolines is their parts might cost slightly more ($10-$50) depending on which part needs replacing.
6. What About Replacing Trampoline Accessory Parts?
For trampoline accessory parts, like Springfree Trampoline Basketball Hoop parts, you will follow the same process as replacing a part on your trampoline.
What Resources Can You Use to Help Replace Parts?
There are plenty of resources you can use to help with correctly replacing a Springfree part. These include:
- A product manual that will be given to you upon completion of your part order.
- The BILT App, which provides 3D step-by-step instructions.
- Online resources, like YouTube videos.
