How to Clean a Trampoline Mat
After the trampoline chalk art is complete, you will want to properly clean the mat.
Kids normally don’t like cleaning, but this part is actually lots of fun.
Here are four steps, courtesy of our How to Clean a Trampoline article, to follow when cleaning the mat:
1. Sweep off any debris on the trampoline with a broom.
2. Now, spray the trampoline with clean water—you can use either a hose or fill up a bucket with lukewarm water.
3. Now start scrubbing! Use a sponge or soft-bristled brush with either soap or a mild detergent. DO NOT use strong chemicals to clean your trampoline, as they can be harmful to the trampoline material.
4. Use a towel to dry the mat—gently patting it to remove the moisture. You can then let it air dry in the sun.
Generally, soap and water will do the trick.
If you decide to use another cleaning substance, check your manufacturer’s guidelines beforehand so you don’t damage the trampoline.
